Yes. The QR is a standard 2D barcode any modern iPhone or Android camera can read. The finder lands on a Snifftag-hosted page (no app needed) and one tap shares their location with you via text and email. We send SMS via a US long code so deliverability matches domestic carriers.
Does Snifftag work with the American Kennel Club (AKC)?
Yes. Each pet's profile has a registry section where you can record AKC name and registration number, plus equivalents for the Canadian Kennel Club, Irish Kennel Club, and Australian National Kennel Council. With your permission this is shared on the scan page.
